Amazon is already aware of player reports about the increase in New World robot activity. Robots have brought continuous challenges to MMOs, and the development team has deployed dedicated resources and tools to identify and counter them. Technicians are committed to continuously improving the fight against robots. Recently, Amazon banned over 7,700 accounts using robots after receiving reports from players. Their goal is to ensure that New World is fun and fair for all players. And those New World Gold got through illegal means will eventually disappear.

Before Amazon itself takes action, New World players entertain themselves by finding their own way to deal with the robot problem. Since the scripts of robots are usually not complicated, players have been able to break their patterns by placing obstacles in their path or involving them in battle. Amazon’s latest wave of bans was issued over two weeks after the discovery of a gold copy vulnerability, which allows players to copy items in their inventory, including Amazon New World Coins, which is actually an unlimited money cheating.

New World briefly reached a peak of over 913,000 concurrent players on Steam at the time of its release. This is a record number, but like any MMO, this number gradually decreases over the next few weeks. The number of New World players online seems to have stabilized at around 130,000 to 140,000. Latest update, Into the Void, was released on November 18th, which included a new weapon, a new class of enemy in the invading Varangian Knights, and new player-vs-player modes.

Ordinary players don’t have to worry about these terrible consequences, as long as they don’t trigger any game rules. They just need to continue to focus on fighting and planting in New World. If there are huge resource needs, they can do it through Buy New World Gold and Items in IGGM.
