"We put in a lot of effort to create the most exciting WoTLK Classic Gold expansion yet and we're looking forward to offering players more content as Legion's epic tale unfolds in the coming months."

The next update to be released for Legion will be patch 7.1 with the title Return to Karazhan. It will feature a brand new raid known as Trial of Valor, while there will be a brand-new five-player Mythic Dungeon. In addition to the news regarding World of Warcraft, Blizzard has announced a companion application for Legion. The app is free and allows you to explore the quests and manage your followers as well as research and purchase hall upgrades, in addition to other things.

Prior World of Warcraft expansions have included: The Burning Crusade (2007), Wrath of the Lich King (2008), Cataclysm (2010), Mists of Pandaria (2012) as well as Warlords of Draenor (2014).
