The imagination and ability of designers and production management specialists in new injection moulding technology processes, mould design and manufacturing have also been tested, they have had to build up over the last decade and many innovations have been translated into successful practice. Examples include injection molding of multiple materials and multiple colors, injection molding containing fabrics, films or plastic prototype manufacturing painted surfaces. However, hot runner injection systems or other methods of gas analysis by injection have also been developed and applied.
The latest information technology for thermoplastic engineering plastics for injection molds is the hot runner system, while the latest data technology for elastomer injection molds is the hot runner system. In addition, industrial development produces mold inserts and single and multi-cavity molds with relatively homogeneous and accurate cavities, promoting a balance of different channel management systems for injection.
Mold design mainly solves the thermal balance problem, reasonably determines the pouring system and cooling system, according to the requirements of the parts using hydraulic core extraction secondary pressurization structure, greatly improving the overall design of injection mold. These developments in mold manufacturing technology also require close cooperation between customers, such as injection molding plants, end users and material and equipment manufacturers. The increasing complexity of molds (number of cavities, different processes, combinations) has also forced the standardization of mold manufacturing. Compared to the situation ten years ago, it is difficult for the average mold maker to compete in today's market. And forever changing product concept mold design is the main task of mold manufacturing. Micro-injection molds are typically lighter than 1 gram, but the total weight of the parts in the product is only 0.01 grams, and the geometry of these micro-plastic parts is as different as the geometry of the larger plastic parts.
For molding micro parts, two systems are available. The first is a combination part with a non-standard injection unit, consisting of a mold closing unit, a material preparation unit, an injection unit, and a mold. In this case, the mold is equipped with a rotating plate so that the complete product can be removed from the mold. The second type is called variable temperature injection. The basic principle is that in each cycle, the mold is heated to the melting temperature of the plastic being processed to promote the filling of the mold cavity. Once the cavity is filled, it cools again. To reduce the cooling time, as few cavity inserts as possible are subjected to temperature cycles and the remaining mold structure is kept at demold temperature. The cavity insert relies on electrical heating and its cross-sectional area determines the heating intensity.
