This question raised in many people's mind that Is reporting different from blocking in WhatsApp? Here I am going to tell you about it. 

Blocking: If you want to avoid someone and don't want to talk to them then you can block them and later if you want you can unblock them and talk to them.

Reporting: If you report someone on WhatsApp then the contact immediately remove from the list and the WhatsApp server keeps an eye on that contact. If anyone report against that contact again then WhatsApp server block that contact permanently and unfortunately you can not undo this action.
