Blizzard to lead the effort to give workers the confidence

Blizzard Entertainment has appointed its first Vice President as Head of Culture. He will aid in making an impact on the World of Warcraft company have the most "diverse as well as equitable and inclusive workplace culture."

Jessica Martinez has joined Blizzard to lead the effort to give workers the confidence that they have the ability to "learn, grow, and be their most original themselves to their work," Blizzard said in a blog post.

Martinez previously worked at The Walt Disney Company for more than 14 years as its Chief of Staff and strategic advisor to The Parks & Resorts division.

"Jessica along with the Blizzard leadership team will be responsible for advancing and implementing our strategy for culture and ensuring that it is aligned across all functions and teams, and revamping learning and talent development programs," the company said in an announcement.

Martinez added in her personal statement "When you create a "people-first" environment where teams feel safe, valued, and work in concert towards a common goal all parties benefit: the employees the athletes, and the business."

Martinez will collaborate with Blizzard's communications, events, and the leaders of Blizzard's franchise teams. "Making the ideals that we have derived from our relationships manifest in what we do is the way we bring cheap WOW WoTLK Classic Gold humanity back to business," Martinez said.
