The development of programming languages is a complex and ongoing process that has involved many individuals and organizations over the past several decades. While it is difficult to pinpoint a single individual as the inventor of programming languages, there are several notable figures who have made significant contributions to the field.

One of the earliest  development of programming languages was Grace Hopper, a computer scientist who worked on the Harvard Mark I computer during World War II. Hopper is credited with creating the first compiler, a program that translates human-readable programming languages into machine code that can be executed by a computer. Her work laid the foundation for the development of modern programming languages and compilers.

Another influential figure in the development of programming languages was John Backus, who led the team that created the first high-level programming language, FORTRAN (FORmula TRANslation), in the 1950s. FORTRAN was designed to make it easier for scientists and engineers to write programs for scientific calculations, and it quickly became widely adopted in academic and research settings.

In the 1960s and 1970s, a number of new programming languages were developed that incorporated different features and paradigms. One notable example was Algol (ALGOrithmic Language), which was designed to be a more powerful and flexible language than FORTRAN, with support for complex data structures and control structures.

Another influential programming language from this period was BASIC (Beginner's All-purpose Symbolic Instruction Code), which was designed to be simple and easy to learn. BASIC was widely adopted in the 1970s and 1980s as the language of choice for personal computers, and many people learned to program on early home computers like the Apple II and the Commodore 64.

In the 1980s and 1990s, a number of new programming languages were developed that incorporated object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts. OOP is a programming paradigm that emphasizes the use of objects, which are instances of classes that encapsulate data and behavior. One of the most popular OOP languages is Java, which was developed by Sun Microsystems and released in 1995. Java is widely used for developing web applications and mobile apps, and it has had a significant impact on the way software is developed and distributed.

Another popular OOP language from this period was C++, which was developed by Bjarne Stroustrup in the 1980s. C++ is a superset of the C programming language, with additional features that support OOP concepts like inheritance and polymorphism. C++ has been widely used for developing system-level software, including operating systems and device drivers.

In recent years, a number of new programming languages have emerged that incorporate functional programming concepts. Functional programming is a programming paradigm that emphasizes the use of pure functions, which have no side effects and always return the same result for a given input. One popular functional language is Haskell, which was developed in the 1990s and is used primarily for academic research and teaching.

Another popular functional language is Python, which was first released in 1991. Python is a general-purpose language that is used for a wide range of applications, including web development, scientific computing, and data analysis. Python is known for its simplicity and readability, and it has become one of the most popular programming languages in the world.

In conclusion, the invention of programming languages is a complex and ongoing process that has involved many individuals and organizations over the past several decades. While there is no single person who can be credited with inventing programming languages, there are many notable figures who have made significant contributions to the field. Today, there are dozens of programming languages in use, each with its own strengths and weaknesses, and the development of new languages continues to be an active area of research and innovation.

Brief History of Programming

James Gosling made Java with the end goal of an intelligent TV project. It is one of most preferred programming dialects actually being continually utilized today on cell gadgets and PCs. Students learn online Java Certification course and best Full Stack Development Course

Brendan Eich created JavaScript in 1995 to assist people with making pages, programs, gadgets, and PDF archives. Greater part of sites that you access uses JavaScript like Mozilla Firefox, Gmail, and Adobe Photoshop.

Hypertext Pre-processor (PHP) was first presented in 1995 as Private Landing page. Its will likely assistance people and organizations construct and update their sites. A few organizations actually rely upon PHP like Wikipedia, Word Press, FaceBook, and some more. Now days medical coding is very famous for medical students.
