D3. when it D2R Items first came out 10 years ago, didn't have an endgame. After you finished the story, you're done there. There was no need to continue to play and become more powerful and have new experiences where with D4. we've spent a lot of energy in creating an end-game at launch.

To unlock these the more challenging content, you need to prove to complete the dungeon in order to gain access to that more challenging content. This is the idea of making your own build, making it powerful, and then testing yourself against some difficult task
