Ahead of WoW Classic's release, Blizzard advised

Even with queue times WoTLK Classic Gold so long Blizzard does not seem to be in a hurry for more servers to the game. Instead, the studio intends to create an effective foundation from which WoW Classic can grow. "Our most important goal when planning in preparation for WoW Classic's launch is making sure we're laying the groundwork for strong community-based realms that will thrive in the years in the years to come. This is why we're cautiously opening new servers to meet demand," Blizzard told Polygon.

Ahead of WoW Classic's release, Blizzard advised that wait times will be a significantly longer than what most would think. The studio also offered ways to help players avoid having to wait for too long. "We would like to encourage those with realms designated Full or High to make plans to join one of these new realms, to avoid the longest queues, as well as buy WoTLK Gold to allow players to be spread as evenly as possible and offer the best possible experience for all," the studio said.

WoW Classic is basically a remake of original WoW that features the same characters, combat mechanics, and skills trees from the original game, as they were launched 10 years earlier. A standard WoW subscription is required to access WoW Classic.
