As evidenced by tepid reviews for Scarface, Red Steel, and Medal of Honor: Vanguard, action OSRS gold games haven't fared too well critically on the Nintendo Wii. This week, though, a survival shooter that has already earned accolades aplenty on the GameCubeand PlayStation 2 ships out.

The Wii RE4 dominates another slim release slate. The only other major console debuts are DiRT and Raw Danger, although both the Xbox 360 and Wii will receive new downloadable titles.

Portables fared better, with Ubisoft's celebrated Brothers in Arms series and Electronic Arts' storied SimCity franchise making their first appearance on the Nintendo DS. Also arriving are the first Transformers movie tie-ins on the PlayStation Portable and DS, one week ahead of their console counterparts. Sony's handheld also gets three more titles: the Fred Willard-hosted puzzle game Hot Brain, the block-shifting Puzzle Scape, and the self-explanatory PQ2: Practical Intelligence Quotient.

North American gamers have been wondering when they would be able to properly
take their Wiis online for some head-to-head action against other Wii owners. Today, Nintendo answered that question.
